2-Layer PE Coated Pipe
- Product description

The external surface of the pipe shall be blast-cleaned to SA21/2 and measured with Press O film replication tape. The cleaned exterior surface of the pipe shall be inspected immediately after blast cleaning. Before coating, the pipe shall be heated and monitored throughout the coating process using calibrated pyrometer. The adhesive layer shall be applied by using either the cross-head or lateral extrusion technique. The polyethylene shall be applied over the adhesive by the same extrusion technique. The coated pipe is used for underground GAS, OIL,WATER pipeline etc.

After FBE coating is applied by electrostatic spray, the adhesive layer shall be applied by using either the cross-head or lateral extrusion technique. The polyethylene/polypropylene shall be applied over the adhesive by the same extrusion technique. The coated pipe is used for underground GAS, OIL,WATER pipeline etc.

The DUAL FBE coating is applied by electrostatic spray and the cured film thickness of the applied coating shall meet the customer's requirement. Top layer provides tough physical properties which minimize damage during handling.
